Larry Rothenberger, DDS

Dr. Rothenberger is a 1973 graduate of Loyola College of Dental Surgery in Chicago. For the past 25 years he has received training in TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder) and orthodontics (braces). He is also a graduate of the Contemporary Esthetics program at Baylor University in New York. At Baylor he studied with Larry Rosenthal "The Dentist to the Stars". Dr. Rothenberger also taught for three years at Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Rothenberger attends four to six courses a year to expand his education on the latest cosmetic and orthodontic techniques as well as on new materials. He earns 60–100 hours a year in continuing education while only 10–15 hours are required. This commitment benefits you through beautiful and longer lasting smile design.

He has received his fellowship in orthodontics from the International Association for Orthodontics, and just recently received his master’s certification in straight wire orthodontics after 2 years, of study. Dr. Rothenberger is also a member of the American Academy for Functional Orthodontics.

Outside of the office, Dr. Rothenberger likes to stay involved with the community. He is Past President of the Frankfort Kiwanis, a member of the Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Open Door Health Clinic Board. He also donates time at the free clinic at Kyger Elementary, and is an elder at the 1st Presbyterian Church of Frankfort.

Our staff at Aesthetics and Gentle Family Dental is patient centered and focuses on what your desires and concerns are. We care about your dental needs, and we will listen to your wants. We also know your time is important so we make it a practice to stay on time. 90% of the time we see you within five minutes of your appointment to limit waiting. Our goal is to help you become part of our patient family. Our team has thorough knowledge and extensive experience through continuing education that keeps us updated on new techniques used in the office. Each team member attends at least two formal seminars annually in both technique and patient care.
